We enjoyed the fact that we chose shenzhen lotus. We used free parking on-site. Location really close to haufu terminal bus stop, only 15 minutes walk away...

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, location is convenient and with free car park, free internet. The breakfast is included. After all acceptable for the price, good value for money.

Our room was not very clean, the breakfast was really basic.

The staff did not speak good English but was very helpful. The worse incident though was that the Air Condition was dripping all night and we woke up to find the entire desk in water. We were lucky that we had not left our computer and cell phones or any documents on the desk. When we took a picture and brought it to the front desk, they simply said "sorry". The breakfast was aweful. The only thing that was good was the fried rice. There was no beverage except for some warm milk which tasted aweful.

It's in a quiet area close to the metro and alot of parks and near the Shenzhen museum.

It's a bit far from most Shenzhen attractions but with the metro it's easy to get around

The Hotel Staff was very helpful. In every shift atleast one staff can speak medium English. One of the female staff "Grace" really helped me. She wrote all the place names in Chinese and guided me, how to go there.

I did not like one thing that hotel did not provide me Shampu and Shower Gel in my room and ask to pay while every cheap hotel also provide these items.

Not very much. Perhaps the price but even then the Luohu hotel has a MUCH better quality at the same price. Perhaps like 2 vs 4-5 stars.

The windows were very bad. Wind was blowing through the seams so that it was almost impossible to sleep. It was exceptionally cold here in SZ this week and because of the huge draft the room became an ice box. The room was not very clean. There were crud and garbage from earlier tenants under the bed and behind the toilet seat. The internet connection was unbelievable wobbly, the worst I've seen in SZ. The shower flooded because the sewer was working very slowly. I don't know where the picture of the huge lobby on Booked.net was from, but definitely not from The Lotus Hotel. It's fake. The breakfast was very simple. Next time in SZ (I come here 1-2 every year) I will not consider The Lotus Hotel. I am writing this in the Luohu hotel which has the same price for the room that I chose but that is infinitely much better.

The close proximity to the Metro station, the cleanliness and staff. The price was perfect for my needs and my room was so dark. All electrical appliances, including air-conditioner worked.

Poor sound proofing between rooms. I thought my room was next to the kitchen one evening.

Unfortunately there was nothing I liked about this hotel other than their price, but I soon realised that the hotel did not good enough for its price.

The hotel was terrible. There was no any staff to carry baggages, reception staff cannot speak English. As soon as I opened my room's door, there were too many insects in the room. There was not a wardrobe and the room was dirty. On Booked.net it was shown as 4 star hotel but it was 3 star hotel. (the staff confirmed that) We soon changed our hotel. I do not suggest you to stay there unless you are a backpacker and you need a budget hotel, because you will be uncomfortable there.

Despite my poor command of Chinese, the staff took every effort to try and help me in any way they could.
